Compatible Video Formats

Both the Sony UBP x700 and UBP x800 are wonderful choices for blue-ray players, but each has its own pros and cons. Sonically, the Sony UBP-X800M2 is excellent. It handles its highest-quality sources – Hi-Res audio files and, especially, DVD-Audio and SACD discs – with so much aplomb and precision that it deserves to be partnered with as high-end an audio system as you can manage.
