About this deal

As far as the temperature reading goes, you can have the center spot value and then you can add the coldest and the hottest spot and they can all appear simultaneously on the screen. Exceptional Thermal Clarity: Experience thermal imaging in high definition with the FLIR C5. Its advanced sensor technology captures crisp, clear thermal details, enabling you to identify potential issues and make informed decisions with unprecedented precision.

There is also something called 1-touch level/span where you touch a part of the image and the camera will automatically adjust the level and span (obviously) so that it highlights that part and darkens the rest. It works really nice and lets you focus your attention on just the object you are measuring. But things start to look again better with the C5 when you look at the temperature sensitivity which is 0.05 for the C5 and 0.10 for the Flir C2. From here on the differences are more subtle: The Flir C5 has 1-touch Level / Span where you can tap on an object to highlight it, while the C3-X doesn’t have that feature. The C5 also offers 2 extra color palettes: Lava and Arctic.Note: the older CAT S61, still available in places, had a lower resolution IR camera, but offered laser measuring, offering an alternative with even more flexibility. The lithium-ion battery capacity was doubled to 4 hours which is something that the users are going to be happy about because the older models only had a 2-hour battery life. The power supply / charger comes with multiple adapters for different countries. Effortless Operation: Streamline your workflow with the FLIR C5's user-friendly interface. Intuitive controls and a responsive touch screen empower you to navigate effortlessly through thermal images, ensuring a seamless experience.

Featuring FLIR Lepton ® thermal imaging sensor and FLIR-patented MSX ® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, which embosses visible scene details onto thermal images to create a crisp image, inspectors can pinpoint hidden problems instantly. The temperature range that the C3-X can measure is also almost twice as wide from -4 F to 572 F (-20 C to 300 C) compared to the C3 which can only go from 13 to 302°F(-10 to 150°) and the thermal sensitivity has improved on the C3-X to 0.07 C. The C2 has just a micro USB port while the C5 has USB and Wi-fi connectivity together with the cloud link. The temperature range on the C5 is much wider, because the C2 can only measure hot spots and cold spots between 13 ->302°F( -10 to 150°) while the C5’s range spans between -4 to 752°F (-20 to 400°C). The FLir E4 is a professional grade thermal camera and the only on in a handheld thermal device form factor in this list. It has a built-in screen and a trigger to capture images.Wide Temperature Measurement Range: The FLIR C5 offers a broad temperature measurement range, allowing you to identify subtle temperature differentials. This ensures comprehensive insights, providing you with a thorough understanding of your surroundings. Both IR Cameras have the same thermal resolution of 80 x 60, the same thermal sensitivity, refresh rate and measurement accuracy. On the downside, while the FLIR One includes a visible light camera, the Seek CompactPro uses your phone’s camera to provide a split-screen picture-by-picture function, which is subject to some parallax issues.
