About this deal

Our goal: To allow you to benefit from our expertise, by providing you with the best products available. Lot’s of dogs have shorter noses which means restraints like a head collar or muzzle won’t easily fit. I did try a halti a few yrs back and she was so stressed on it - i couldn't put her through it, rather have her pulling). Handlers can gently direct the dog's head, steering him into desired positions which can then be rewarded and linked to a command associated with that posture, for example 'sit'!

Up until a few weeks ago he would have started to walk to heel after a couple of times (albeit with a rather strange waddle !And my god - what a difference - i'm not saying it's all roses - especially when i first put it on, she still does her mental bit and struggles to the door, but once outside - she's a different dog, as soon as she feels the pressure on her chest - she goes slower. Large: Suitable for Bernese Mountain Dogs, bull mastiffs, great Danes, Saint Bernards or similar breeds.

I will take a video of Dixie on the extendy normally, and a video of her on the extendy with the Walkezee. As Jo says, I'm primarily using the harness now to prevent neck injury as it doesn't stop the pulling. I think harnesses definitely have their place, for dogs with weak or damaged throats/necks, for dogs that have to be on a long line, for dogs who are being walked on a flexi, for dogs who for some reason of their own just don't like being walked by the collar.Social media links are included in our pages to provide links to social media tools like Twitter and Facebook, and enable you to bookmark or recommend our pages. The harness I chose was the Company of Animals Lupi Harness which obviously is usually meant for dogs. After my experience with a halti - i didn't want to spend loads of money only to find it made no difference.

Just posted something about these on another site and it was suggested by pammy to post on here as well. The following table sums up a number of dog breeds to give an indication of what size is suitable for your dog. In my opinion there are only two animals that should wear a harness Husky dogs and Clydesdale horses it TEACHES them to pull.Several of my grooming "clients" have Lupis - they are also meant to be v good for dogs with back problems apparently. The Lupi harness is deal for dogs with short noses like Pugs and Bulldogs who do not easily wear a HALTI. Frontline Combo combines the effectiveness of Frontline Spot-On with s-methoprene, which prevents eggs and larvae from hatching. You can't imagine how frustrated I was, after thingking 'that harness looks great' and not being able to find it! A friend's standard poodle though, pulled all his life, 8 years old, they got him a lupi and he goes perfectly in it, as soon as he felt the first little tightening of it he cottoned on, they've tried a choker collar etc and the lupi worked wonders.

Anyway i was going to have a look at these as Zeb is a puller and normal harness make him pull harder (think its a malamute in him! This simple figure-of-eight harness incorporates a special feature that converts the dog's forward movement into an upward lift. But after that I expect my dog to normally walk by the collar (except when we use the flexi or long line). I reccomend the canny collar too, I got it for Dixie after she had been spayed and it was really good.

I've had other cocker owners telling me I'm wasting my time even attempting to try and curb pulling cos that's what cockers do.
